NEEODANCE is a dynamic dance movement art offering Contemporary Dance and Contemporary Dance-Fusion classes and performances virtual and in studio. Weekly dance classes and private tuition are just some of the opportunities available as a drop in or membership. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps, intermediate continuing to spice up your dynamics or a power-house advanced mover-highly skilled; Our aim is to help you find it, express it , sustain it and above all, stay fit, creative and own that dancer in you! Our core value lies at the heart of commitment to physical training and providing exciting dance knowledge and experiences to boost self-belief thereupon enhancing self-development. Founder/Director, Yaa Kusi is a Dance Artist, London Contemporary Dance School, Edge Dance Company and Royal Academy of Dance Alumni.
SHARING SOME EXPERIENCES
Yaa Kusi is a Dance Artist and London Contemporary Dance School’s ‘Edge’ alumni. She trained on a full scholarship at LCDS under some of the best contemporary and ballet artists and lecturers. She has performed works by Philip Decoufle, Wayne McGregor, Jiri Kylian of Nederlands Dans Theatre, Kerry Nicholls and Dr S. Ama Wray, amongst others and completed a Rambert Dance Company work experience residency. Richard Alston has described Yaa as an "elegant dancer." She has made television appearances including Eurovision Song Contest, BBC1, Channel 4, Belgium TV, Seattle Washington Dance Festival, UK television commercials and assisting Dr S. Ama Wray to rehearse National Youth Dance Company. Yaa is also a UK PGCE QTS qualified dance teacher/educator, dance consultant, and a Royal Academy of Dance alumni. Her dynamic and open-minded approach allows her clients to access dance with thorough understanding of dance technique and flourish in their own movement language.
